About Us
The Archaeology and Development Foundation (ADF) is a charity registered with the Charity Commission in England and Wales (Reg. n° 1122750). Thanks to the generosity and contributions of sponsors like you, ADF is able to work with local authorities and empower local communities to take responsibility for their own development by addressing cultural and socioeconomic issues.
Timing
The first phase of the Phnom Kulen project was implemented between 2008 and 2010, according to the agreement signed between the National ASPARA Authority and the Archaeology & Development Foundation.
The next phase, to be implemented from 2011 to 2013, will focus on heritage, conservation, development and environmental protection. It will be achieved jointly with our partners, and through our local NGO, Integrated Solutions Asia Cooperation (ISAC).

Administrative Status of Phnom Kulen
- Located in Siem Reap Province, Cambodia
- 1 of 7 National Parks in Cambodia (Kret, 1st Nov. 1993), under the administration of the Ministry of Environment
- Total area : 37,500 hectares
- The rivers are registered in zone 3 (ZEMP, protected cultural land scape, Kret n° 001/NS, 28th May 1994).
- Registered on the indicative list of World Heritage Sites by the Kingdom of Cambodia since 1992, recently resigned in June 2009.
